Washington D.C. & Philly

Being on the East Coast you realize that you live really close to a lot of big cities. One of those cities is Washington D.C. Andrew's cousin got married this past weekend up there so we took the four hour drive up to spend the weekend in D.C. and then Philly. I love D.C. but I realized I had never been there in the summer and there were a lot of people and it was hot!!! The best part was the Zoo. They had just put the lion cubs with the dad for the first time so there was a LOT of interaction. The most I have ever seen animals interact at any zoo.

After the wedding we headed up to Philly for the reception. I had never been to Philly and have always wanted to go to Independence Hall. Andrew was also dying to eat a  Philly Cheesesteak in Downtown Philly. Before we headed downtown we had to have the annual Bangerter Family Master's Croquet Tournament. Unfortunately, Andrew took second place in a very dramatic ending. We'll just have to go for it again next year.

Even though we got stuck in tons of traffic throughout the whole weekend...we had a blast.
