California Trip

This past week we had the chance to go to California for Lauren and Todd's open house.  We started out in Thousand Oaks where Todd is from.  We had a lot of fun with his family.  We did a bike ride through Sycamore Canyon that ended right at the beach.  It was a blast.  After the open house we headed down to San Diego.  We actually went back to the same condo on Coranado where we went on our honeymoon.  We never thought we would be able to go back but we were lucky enough to tag along with Andrew's family.  We went to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, drove past the Rose Bowl, went to Sea World, toured the USS Midway Air Craft Carrier, went to a San Diego Padres game, went to the Mormon Battalion museum, ate at a fantastic mexican restaurant called Cafe Coyote, drove past the hollywood sign, went to the Los Angeles temple, went on fun walks and bike rides around the beach and of course went to the beach and rode boogie boards. It was a quick trip filled with lots of fun activities.  Enjoy the pictures! :)

Lauren and Todd's Wedding!

On Friday June 8th my sister-in-law Lauren got married!! It was such a great day filled with happiness and lots of fun.  We are so excited to have Todd in the family.  He fits in perfectly, and most importantly he loves Lauren more than anything else! As siblings we all sang Lauren and Todd a song at their wedding lunch. The video was too big to upload anywhere but I'm still working on it.

Nieces and Nephew

Andrew and I are so lucky to have 8 nieces and 1 nephew between our two families.  Since Andrew's sister, Lauren, is getting married on Friday everyone is here.  We have had so much fun spending time with the Bangerter nieces and one nephew.  They live in Boston and Kansas so we don't get to see them as much as we see the King nieces. So here are some pictures of what we've been up to lately with these cuties!!!

 We were making funny faces!!

REAL Salt Lake Game

We went to our first REAL Salt Lake game last Tuesday.  It was so much fun to go to a professional soccer game because I had never been to one before.  What made it even better is that we got in for free using our pass of all passes.  That thing is the best purchase we've ever made!!   We only had to pay $5 for parking...so this made for a pretty cheap date.  The game was more packed than I thought it would be and the atmosphere was great.  They had drums playing the whole time throughout the game and they had a pretty cool team song that they would play every once in awhile to get the team pumped up.   Unfortunately we lost but the game was still very exciting with a lot of close call goals.  I can't wait to go to the next one!!!
