We're going to Disney World!

I know this is a little late but I like to still do blog posts about important events even if they are two months old.

After a long few months of job interviews with multiple companies we have decided to take a job with Disney in Orlando Florida. Andrew will be an Integration Consultant working on projects with ESPN and ABC to start off with.  Throughout this whole decision we are grateful for the guidance of our Heavenly Father. We have loved it in North Carolina and Andrew had a very tempting job offer from an incredible company here in Raleigh but it just didn't feel right. My mom was awesome and babysat Ellie, after only being 1 week old, so we could go to the temple. A nice lady in the bathroom approached me if I could do some family names for her.  When I sat down I looked at the card and all the ordinances had been done in the Orlando Temple. I looked over at Andrew and whispered to him what I had discovered. He whispered back to me that his person he was performing ordinances for had had all their work done in the Orlando Temple as well.  It was just a sweet small sign and tender mercy from the Lord confirming to us that Florida is where we needed to be. We're excited for this next adventure. Let the magic begin! :)

Easter

This Easter week was so nice and relaxing. Andrew kind of had a small spring break with no classes on Thursday and Friday. We just enjoyed ourselves by watching movies all weekend, doing some shopping, and loving our Ellie! A highlight of the week was taking the plunge and getting a Sam's Club membership. We're getting to the point where we just need to buy things in bulk. Buying milk there alone pays for the membership in 1 year. It also is hard to turn town a quick dinner of hot dogs, drink, and pizza for three dollars!

It also was General Conference this weekend. It was so nice to reflect back on last conference and what comfort it was since we had just learned that Ellie might have some complications. Now during this conference to get to hold her and have the complications behind us was truly wonderful and humbling experience. I love conference and the Spirit that it brings into our home of hope and new beginning. It was also great to have Easter combined with it. We're so grateful for our Savior and His sacrifice so that we can experience true joy and happiness with our families in this life and into eternity.

Speaking of true happiness and joy with our families. My family was blessed to add a new member to it this weekend. Her name is Maggie. She currently is four pounds of pure joy and an answer to prayers. Tyler and Jody got a phone call Thursday night saying that there was a baby girl available and if they were interested. They were selected and got on a plane to Orlando the next day to meet there new baby girl. She is ADORABLE and we could not be more thrilled that she is part of our family.

Since it was Easter and I have a baby girl now...you have to dress her up. These were my dresses. The first one is my blessing dress and the second one was a Easter dress that I wore. Just like her mom she does not enjoy the fancy dresses. :) Please note the side by side comparison.

Thanks Amma & Papa King for her first Easter egg full of goodies.
