Andrew's Graduation

Andrew's graduation day was perfect! It was a wonderful day just celebrating him and all of his hard work over the past year.  We were so happy Andrew's parents flew in to celebrate with us.

His graduation was short and to the point...just like his program. It lasted a total of 45 minutes. It was nice to just have the Director, Dr. Rappa, make some comments then they passed out the certificates and we were done. Luckily they had a meet and greet before and after the graduation. It was fun meeting all of Andrew's professors and classmates that I had heard all about over the past year. To top it off we went to Burgerfi, one of our favorite places to eat in Raleigh.

Andrew was such a trooper over the last year. He worked hard every day and made it a goal to not do anything school related on Sunday and I know he was blessed for that. He was always so good to put me first over any school work. I seriously forgot a lot of the time that he was even in school. A perfect example of this was during his last month I asked him one night what he was working on. Turns out he was working on this 20 page group paper and1 hour presentation that I had no idea he even had to do.

We're so proud of you Andrew! (I'll add more pictures later...we took them on our real camera which I always forget to upload) Here is a link his school posted on their website. We're kind of famous. http://analytics.ncsu.edu/?p=9046

We're going to Disney World!

I know this is a little late but I like to still do blog posts about important events even if they are two months old.

After a long few months of job interviews with multiple companies we have decided to take a job with Disney in Orlando Florida. Andrew will be an Integration Consultant working on projects with ESPN and ABC to start off with.  Throughout this whole decision we are grateful for the guidance of our Heavenly Father. We have loved it in North Carolina and Andrew had a very tempting job offer from an incredible company here in Raleigh but it just didn't feel right. My mom was awesome and babysat Ellie, after only being 1 week old, so we could go to the temple. A nice lady in the bathroom approached me if I could do some family names for her.  When I sat down I looked at the card and all the ordinances had been done in the Orlando Temple. I looked over at Andrew and whispered to him what I had discovered. He whispered back to me that his person he was performing ordinances for had had all their work done in the Orlando Temple as well.  It was just a sweet small sign and tender mercy from the Lord confirming to us that Florida is where we needed to be. We're excited for this next adventure. Let the magic begin! :)
