Goodbye North Carolina.....

Leaving North Carolina was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. We loved living in Raleigh and all that it taught us. Being the first place we have lived away from family it helped us grow together as a couple and become our own family unit. We had a great ward and found some lifelong friends. We had our first child there and paid a lot of tuition to the school of hard knocks as Andrew likes to say. It seriously was the fastest year of our lives but filled with SOO much. Thank you to 5400 Summerford Drive #6101 for being such a wonderful home. And a big shout out to Darius Rucker for his song Wagon Wheel. It will always been in our top five favorite songs! Raleigh you will always have a very special place in our hearts.  

Andrew's Graduation

Andrew's graduation day was perfect! It was a wonderful day just celebrating him and all of his hard work over the past year.  We were so happy Andrew's parents flew in to celebrate with us.

His graduation was short and to the point...just like his program. It lasted a total of 45 minutes. It was nice to just have the Director, Dr. Rappa, make some comments then they passed out the certificates and we were done. Luckily they had a meet and greet before and after the graduation. It was fun meeting all of Andrew's professors and classmates that I had heard all about over the past year. To top it off we went to Burgerfi, one of our favorite places to eat in Raleigh.

Andrew was such a trooper over the last year. He worked hard every day and made it a goal to not do anything school related on Sunday and I know he was blessed for that. He was always so good to put me first over any school work. I seriously forgot a lot of the time that he was even in school. A perfect example of this was during his last month I asked him one night what he was working on. Turns out he was working on this 20 page group paper and1 hour presentation that I had no idea he even had to do.
