Andrew's Trip to NY
Andrew has been doing really well adjusting to a "grown up" job! He is doing so well that he was offered to be the lead guy on a project with ESPN. With that he had to go to New York for a few days. He was really excited to go but than realized it was Winter in New York. We had to dust off his winter coats and clothes to get him all ready. While this trip was exciting he was nervous as well. This was his first business trip for Disney and he wasn't quite sure what to expect. Once again Heavenly Father is always watching out for us. He got to his hotel and opened the window to a perfect view of the Manhattan LDS Temple. Andrew just felt relief and confidence that he could go into his meetings and know what to do. He had a few fun days exploring all the different places around his hotel and even did a session in the Temple. Anyone who knows Andrew also knows he will fit in a sporting event wherever he goes. The only downside to the trip was that it was over my birthday but luckily I'm a big believer in celebrating your birthday all month long so it worked out. ;)

Happy 2016!!
2015 was such a busy and exciting year for us! We're hoping for a little bit less stressful and fun 2016. To start it off we had a fun little party with our friends here. We played a game called bean boozled most of the night. It is a jelly bean game where you don't know if you are getting a normal tasting jelly bean or an AWFUL one. To say we all had interesting breath after playing would be an understatement. We're so glad we've made some good friends here and are making fun memories.
Shortly after New Years Seth & Hollie came for a quick visit. They were flying back from Brazil and had a 12 hour layover in Orlando. They brought us back some yummy treats and presents from Brazil and then we treated them to a little afternoon at Disney World. One treat they brought us was a cacao! It brought back a memory from Ecuador of having a spitting contest of the seeds! We thought about making chocolate but it would have taken about a month.
YW's has filled up my usually very calm schedule. :) Andrew was a good sport and tagged along with me to chaperone a stake dance. We walked in and we both instantly looked like Youth. I even got asked to dance by a Priest. Luckily, one of my girls was standing right by me. I had her dance with him instead. I will give him credit for having courage because I was holding on to Andrew's arm pretty tight when he asked me. After that we just stood on the wall and tried to look like adults. ;)
We got an Xbox One for Christmas so we have had fun trying different games. Quin gave us this Army shirt and Andrew had to play Risk in honor of all the times they played the board game together.
Ellie likes to make changing her diaper an adventure/two parent wrestling match ;)
Our January was fairly slow but we're gearing up for our busy month full of visitors in February! We can't wait to see so many different family members over the next 6 weeks.
