This past week we got to go to Montana with the King's. It was quite the adventure of getting there and realizing we were vacationing in the middle of nowhere. We had ZERO cell service but luckily there was internet, so we did survive. It was a week full of hanging out, watching movies, reading books, playing games, fishing and eating. Andrew had his first experience of fly fishing. By staying at this cabin it came with a all day guided fishing package. Andrew and my Dad ended up being the only ones who went. When we got to the place they split Andrew and my Dad up with two different guides. Andrew didn't see my dad the whole day. So let's just say Andrew became a pro at fly fishing pretty fast and he had a ton of fun. I also had an interesting experience with fishing. I had never fished before but luckily the cabin had its own private pond that we could fish on everyday. Andrew and my dad had fished on the pond earlier and said that it was super easy to catch fish. Let's just say after 2 hours, I hadn't caught any fish. On the other hand my sister-in-law, Jody, had caught 7 fish and my brother,Tyler, had caught 2. Luckily, I finally did catch 2 fish!!!! Another miracle that happened on this trip was that my dad actually played games with us. I think we got him to play Phase 10 three times. I've never seen my dad play that many games in my entire life. Overall, it was a great trip and we're glad we got to go.
