April 2016

April was packed with some more visitors and fun memories!

 Ellie enjoying Conference Cake!
Andrew loved when Pres. Uchtdorf told the story of this church. He had to go and find the picture of him in front of it while serving his mission.
Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Cam came to visit for a quick trip. Ellie loved playing with them and showing them around Disney.
They were trying really hard to find the alligator in our backyard. We haven't seen him for awhile though.

Ellie really is starting to react to things at Disney. This was during the Lion King show. She was clapping and dancing along the whole time.

Andrew had to work security for the night session of our Stake Conference. He said he felt like secret service. :)
We love getting to go to Disney for FHE. The new track for Toy Story Mania opened so we had to go test it out.
Waiting for Uncle Lincoln at the airport. He was flying in from Brazil.

Lincoln really wanted to go to the Temple because he hadn't been for two years! So I sent him and Andrew off to a session.

I went to Time Out for Women here in Orlando with some ladies from our ward! It was a blast. It was the longest I had been away from Ellie and it was hard. So hopefully I can do okay when we head to Brazil for ten days.

The Temple has the good grass to play on!
Ellie can still fit into 6 month clothes. These were the last time she wore these pants though.
We got to go to Harry Potter World with some friends. I really felt like we had stepped into the books/movies.

We went and rode the Jurassic Park ride. I had heard that you can get soaked on it so I made Andrew go first. He didn't get wet at all. I went next and the whole time I just knew I was going to get soaked. I was correct! Andrew couldn't stop laughing at me as I was walking up to him and he could hear my shoes sloshing full of water!

These two are so cute together! :) :)

March 2016

Our March update will be brought to you by pictures!

We were gifted this cute wagon from a family in our Ward. Ellie loves it when we go on walks!

My parents snapped this pic as they drove away to the airport.
Ellie loves to go up the slide but not down it.
I had a big YW Fundraiser this month. I was in charge of all the baskets and getting this all set up. I think I did pretty good for my first big YW activity.

We celebrated Pie Day at Village Inn! :)
We love March Madness around our house. Ellie even had a bracket. Andrew and Ellie would roll two dice for two teams. The high dice team would move on in each round. Andrew was getting a little upset because Utah kept moving on in Ellie's bracket. Andrew ended up winning out of the three of us.

We had a YW boating activity at our YW president's house. I stayed in the backyard with Ellie and her new friend Xander. He loved driving her around the yard and would stop to take in the view and put his arm around Ellie.

We went to the church rodeo to cheer on our cousin Will!

Andrew was invited to go to the Arnold Palmer invitation with some friends. One of the perks to living in Florida is that you can golf year round. Andrew LOVES it!
We loved getting our big Easter Egg from Amma King.

Ellie was begging me to look inside the washer. She enjoyed helping me pull clothes out and fold them.
We love Mac & Cheese here at our house!

Amma & Papa Visit

My parents came out in March for a conference that my dad had. Since they stayed at a hotel near Disney we took advantage of that. We did some shopping, swimming, and enjoyed lots of treats. My parents even watched Ellie so Andrew and I could go on a date. We had been wanting to try out the dine in movie theater. So we went and saw Zootopia and enjoyed our dinner as we watched. It actually was pretty fun but not cheap! Andrew and my dad found time to go a spring training game as well. It was packed few days but so much fun!

After a month of visitors we had quite the collection of Rider Switch passes. We ended up just giving them to Andrew's cousin who happened to be at Disney that day.

Part of their bucket list for Florida is to wear the Mickey Hats. I finally got them to do it.

We spent a whole day at their hotel and this was all the stuff we needed for Ellie..haha
