This year is Andrew's golden birthday! Since my brother is getting married on his birthday, we had to celebrate a few days earlier. So yesterday was "Andrew's Birthday." Since Andrew is turning 24 and there are 24 hours in a day I gave him a gift every hour. I've been planning this for the past couple of months because I knew his birthday had to be big and special. (Andrew took me to Disneyland for my birthday...how do you compete with that??)
Midnight was his first gift. I had to wake him up and he thought everything was a dream. I made him read the note explaining how the rest of the day would be. When he woke up in the morning he was so excited to open up his presents.
Throughout the day he opened his presents and loved every single one. He also went golfing with his brother Seth and we then had his favorite German food for dinner with Creme Brulee for dessert. (I got to use my new torch)
Then on Thursday we headed to American Fork to celebrate with the Bangerter Family. Andrew's mom had gold balloons and a football piñata filled with 48 gold coins. He had to wear Seth's tree climbing equipment just in case a coin came flying out of the piñata.
Overall, it was a great "fake" birthday couple of days filled with celebrating my all time favorite person in the world.
