June 2016- Brazil Part 4

When we got back to Salvador we were welcomed by Lauren and Todd. They had flown in that morning. We were excited that our trip was going to over lap for a few days. It was fun exploring the city with them.

Andrew's dad fell asleep while we were all shopping! Also, Andrew can smell a Nike store a mile away.

 This is where they will play one of the Olympic Soccer games. Also, the big Salvador sign is where the Olympic torch passed through.

 All ready for the ward San Juan Party with our Haviannas! It was a fun night of dancing and lots of Brazilians trying to teach us how to dance without laughing.

 We walked around a free zoo. Andrew found the cougar next to the Puma that kept growling at us as we walked by.

 The boy's went and played basketball with some of the missionaries.

 Saying goodbye to Mission Home.

 I was cold at the airport so I wanted some hot chocolate. I thought my Portuguese was good enough to order it....but I was wrong. They had to bring someone over who spoke English. They also couldn't pronounce or say my name. It made us feel better as we were sad that we were leaving Brazil.
